Introduction to Leisure Aviation - £240
The best choice if you want to learn to fly. A briefing and explanation of both types of microlight (flexwing and fixed wing 3 axis) by your flying instructor followed by two flights of 60 minutes, one in each type of aircraft. Take part in a proper flight to another airfield. Either White Waltham, Compton Abbas near Shaftsbury or Kemble. Both these are much larger general aviation airfields with lots of interesting aircraft. You will be involved in the flight, keeping a good look out for other aircraft, spotting landmarks and listening to the radio chatter. You will land at the other airfield, have a short break and a drink and then fly back. A true introduction to what leisure aviation is really about. - £250.
